Daniel Mora obtained his B.Sc. in Physics from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM) in 2024 and his M.Sc. in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology in 2025 from the Universitat de Barcelona (UB). During his M.Sc. thesis, he carried out the setup and optimization of a Vis–NIR spectrometer for the subsequent study of plasmonic gold nanostructures.
His PhD at GNM³, funded by the AEI agency, focuses on the growth and characterization of magneto-ionic materials, in which the magnetic properties are modulated via voltage-driven ion migration. The research targets applications in energy-efficient and secure memory cells, as well as neuromorphic computing and anti-counterfeiting technologies.
