Jan R. Vidal de Castellar is a BSc student in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. His final degree project focuses on the electrodeposition of Ni-W nanoparticles on carbon-based substrates for electrocatalytic applications. The work combines electrochemical synthesis, controlled deposition strategies, and advanced characterization to study structure-property relationships, with particular emphasis on oxygen reduction reaction performance in alkaline media.
